Babcock Power Announces Appointment of New President and CEO at Vogt Power International Inc.

Andy MacGregor is named new President and CEO at Vogt Power

(Louisville, KY)  – Babcock Power, a leading supplier to the power generation industry, announced today that, effective September 16, 2013, Andy MacGregor will be promoted to President and CEO of their subsidiary, Vogt Power International Inc.

Andy joined Babcock Power Environmental (BPE) in 2012 as Vice President of Business Development and earlier this year, he assumed responsibility for leading the business development and proposal team for BPE. Prior to BPE, Andy was responsible for project development of new combined cycle generation projects at Progress Energy. Preceding Progress Energy, Andy held varying positions of increasing responsibility with InterGen in both engineering and development of combined cycle projects in the UK, Mexico and North America.

Andy holds a BEng. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK and Postgraduate Certificate of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, Edinburgh, UK. Andy will be based in Louisville, KY.
