Vogt Power to Supply HRSGs for Connecticut Combined Cycle Power Plant

Danvers, MA – Vogt Power International Inc., located in Louisville, KY, a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc., based in Danvers, MA, announced today that it has been selected to supply Kleen Energy Systems, LLC’s Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for the Kleen Energy Project in Middletown, Connecticut.

Vogt Power will design, manufacture and deliver two fuel gas fired, three pressure level reheat, natural circulation HRSGs with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) and CO systems to remove harmful emissions, Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) respectively, from the dual-fuel (natural gas and fuel oil) gas turbine exhaust stream. The HRSGs will also include a stack silencer, acoustic shroud and steam silencers. Vogt’s HRSGs will be installed behind Siemens SGT6-5000FD3 gas turbines.
