Struthers Wells to Provide Heat Exchangers for Oklahoma Refinery

Houston, TX – Struthers Wells, a division of Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. (TEi), a Babcock Power Inc. company with offices located in Houston, TX and Warren, PA, has received an order from Mustang Engineering for a vertical Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger to function in a Waste Heat (flue gas) Steam Generator application, to be installed at Valero Energy Corporation’s Ardmore Refinery in Ardmore, OK.

This new heat exchanger will be manufactured in TEi’s Sapulpa, OK facility. It utilizes waste heat from a flue gas stream on the tube side, and Boiler Feed Water / Steam on the shell side. Mustang has provided engineering services and projects for at least eight of Valero Energy’s United States refineries, as part of its clean fuels program.
