Riley Power to Supply Emissions Control Technology to NRG

Danvers, MA – Riley Power Inc. (RPI), based in Worcester, MA, a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc. (BPI) of Danvers, MA, announced today that it has signed a contract to design and supply a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system for NRG Energy’s (NRG) Indian River Generating Station in Millsboro, Delaware.

Riley Power will supply the SCR system for the plant’s 440 megawatt unit 4, which will reduce Nitrogen Oxides emissions as part of NRG’s overall air quality improvement program at Indian River. All emission controls are scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2011.
