HRSG Design
Custom Designed
Vogt Power International supplies custom-designed Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for installation behind combustion turbines starting at 25 MW up to 270MW for use in power generation, co-generation, enhanced oil recovery (EOR units), and combined heat and power. These HRSGs feature a horizontal gas path, and may have one, two, or three pressure levels with or without a re-heat system.
Vogt Power International’s extensive experience includes supplementary and auxiliary fired units, the supply of SCR and CO systems, and additional design features such as stack dampers, silencers, shrouds, and exhaust bypass systems. With HRSGs installed around the world, from North and South America, and across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Vogt Power International designs products to meet codes and standards such as: ASME, TRD, IBR, and PED/CE.
Design Technology
Thermal Design Software
The HRSGs Vogt Power International provides are designed applying proven standards. To meet customers’ performance requirements, we utilize design software that incorporates the experience of more than 800 previously built units. Then, on a continuous basis, performance test measurements are compared to projected values generated by our software to ensure that outcomes meet expectations, long before construction begins.
Flue Gas Distribution
We evaluate and produce flow models of the flue gas-flow patterns to ensure even distribution in the inlet duct at the heating surface inlet cross section. The result is typically a composite angle inlet duct, which improves the flue gas distribution in the initial heat transfer surface
