A portable metal disintegrator is available for on-site removal of broken taps, drills, reamers, hardened pins, studs, and related objects. Cost benefits accrue as a direct result of the metal disintegrators ability to perform its mission without damage to the work piece or distortion of the threads.
The metal disintegrator uses electronic, intermittent arcs and vibrating action to break down the hardest metals into minute particles. This unique design preserves the work piece and prevents thread distortion. The coolant used to dissipate electrode heat also washes away waste metal. A unique versatile tool, the metal disintegrator can arc holes of any size or shape, for both hardened and soft metals.

Heat Exchangers Pipe Prep
With a capacity to handle a size range of 3- to 24-inch outside diameter (OD) pipe, TEi Services’ machinists can end-prep specific configurations to accommodate particular customer requirements. TEi Services’ equipment allows for tool pipe cuts to 12 inches, and single-point cutting to 24 inches. Flange facing equipment is utilized for end-prepping larger diameters to 60 inches.

TEi Services’ ASME-certified welders are qualified to accommodate all known fabrication requirements, and provide other welding services, such as building up damaged area prior to machining the surface.
