Field Erected Steam Generators

Riley Power Inc. (RPI) is a major U.S. supplier of natural circulation steam generators, firing a wide range of coals and other fossil fuels, RPI has experience with over 70 different types of waste fuels, including Municipal Solid Waste(MSW), Refuse Derived Fuel(RDF) and various forms of biomass. Our customer base includes utilities, municipalities, IPPs, industrial plants, waste-to-energy plants, refineries, and pulp and paper facilities.

Capacities from 100,000 pounds per hour to more than 4,000,000 pounds per hour of steam are available.  Firing systems for coal units consist of an array of milling equipment, including MPS Pulverizers, Atrita® mills, and Ball Tube Mills, as well as RPI’s well proven low NOx CCV® burners. For other fossil and waste fuels, RPI offers oil and gas burners, waste fuel burners, and a complete line of stokers, including traveling grate spreader stokers, stationary water-cooled pinhole grates, and water-cooled oscillating grates.

In keeping with its commitment to developing and providing environmentally friendly products, RPI now offers a solar boiler for concentrated solar power (CSP) applications. Each unit is designed utilizing RPI’s vast steam generator experience in thermodynamics, material selections, manufacturing, and field erection. A wide variety of steam conditions are available to suit each specific installation.
