In 1984, BTA commenced furnishing its patented FLEXISEAL access doors for a wide range of new and retrofit applications, including boilers (un-insulated and insulated), boiler doors with tube panels, SCR catalyst doors, scrubber doors, electrostatic precipitators, baghouses, and economizers.
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Applications
Selecting the right elements for your SCR system can require many new choices. For Personnel Access, select single or double doors for easy entry. For Catalyst Replacement, select single, insulated davit doors, Type FH, for gas temperatures up to 900 F. The large Type FH catalyst doors open and close fast. They have no threshold, thus the flush floor grate permits dragging or wheeling the heavy catalyst modules in or out quickly.
