Overview
Riley Power Inc. (RPI) has been designing, manufacturing and servicing steam generators and associated auxiliary equipment for over 90 years for the power generation and industrial markets. RPI offers a complete line of Atrita® hammer mills, MPS vertical spindle mills, and Ball Tube Mills. Over 70 years ago, RPI introduced the first Atrita® pulverizer as a cost-effective, reliable alternative to medium capacity ball tube mills and vertical spindle mills. Since its introduction, RPI has furnished more than 1,600 mills to over 500 installations throughout the world. RPI also has continuously incorporated design improvements and new materials to make today’s Atrita® design one of the most reliable pulverizers in its capacity range installed at coal-fired plants. MPS Pulverizers (Read More)
With over 2,000 MPS mills installed in the USA and abroad burning a wide variety of coals, there is no other vertical spindle mill with more combined grinding capacity and range of proven experience in the world. Since its introduction to the power generation industry in the 1960’s, many improvements and upgrades in design and material selections have been incorporated to improve each unit’s performance, reliability and availability. The latest designs incorporate hydraulic loading of the roll wheels to obtain optimum grinding, as well as dynamic classifiers optimize coal fineness and distribution. Ball Tube Mills (Read More)
RPI also offers Ball Tube Mill Systems for large coal pulverizing applications firing abrasive petroleum coke to high moisture content sub-bituminous coals, such as PRB coal.
